Siena spent a week in the studio, working with students and faculty to create a trio of large-scale prints.

The Brown School commemorated World Food Day Oct. 16 by holding a lunch in Goldfarb Commons and a discussion afterward. Students were given “money” based on their random selection as being from rich, poor or moderate-income countries. The students could gain additional money by pooling funds with others. With the money, students purchased food representing those countries.

Students are invited to submit proposals for grant money from the Women’s Society of Washington University (WSWU) to support projects or activities that benefit the university community. Each fall, WSWU awards grants ranging from $300 to $2,000. The submission deadline is Wednesday, Oct. 31.

The Bears face No. 16 University of Rochester at 7:30 p.m. (ET) Friday, Oct. 26, in Rochester, N.Y., before traveling to Cleveland, Ohio, to play Case Western Reserve University at 1:30 p.m. (ET) Sunday, Oct. 28.
